I know, weather questions will almost always be frustrating because there isn't usualy a definite cut answer. That is what brings me here today. Kids are naturally inquisitive, whether they are 2 or 12, that they like to understand things. First each goes through what I like to call "The What's", this quickly progresses into "The Why's" and later on on becomes "The How's". Kids improve by communicating with them. Heineken introduced a version of their popular lager called Heineken Extra Cold in European markets some time ago to handle the requirement for colder beers. The brew is dispensed coming from a special tapper with refrigeration units inside it for cooling the beer to 32 degrees. Indeed the exterior of the tapper is encased inside a thick layer of frost to increase the Extra Cold experience. When I toured the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam in March of the year, I had a chance to do this version and found that it is quite refreshing. But, I could not help wonder the thing that was different about this apart from the temperature. I struck up a conversation with one of the barmaids and was amused to learn that this only difference inside beer was the temperature. It is the exact same beer, only served colder. In other words, it is pure marketing. Similarly, Guinness generates a version of its popular stout in the Extra Cold version as well.
